Tree Crop Farm
Lynnie I don't have enough words to describe how much I love your place. Thank you for your welcoming, opening the doors of your home, and being so generous. A dream land amongst flowers, gardens, walk tracks, view on the sea and meadow. Birds welcome the day. The river flows. The leaves of the trees whisper a sweet melody. The doves crazily dance in front of your door. Your energy is in every beings, the ones growing, in every flowers blooming or sleeping gently when the sun starts to go down. Each step through your gardens are guided by a flagrance, everything is delightful and sensitive. I enjoy every second there and dream of a place that I could call mine with such uniqueness. I am on my way up north but really hope to come back in your magical place.
My wife and I wanted a night away from life to celebrate our silver wedding. Lorraine was expecting a night at a boring top class hotel, with a boring 3 course meal the same as on the menu at every other hotel. Tree Crop is a world away from anywhere, and we could focus on each other, away from work, children, and all those jobs which need doing at home. No room service, no guests in the next room, or up and down the corridor, no breakfast between 8.30 and 9.30, or silly little bars of soap in the bathroom, that is what we went to get away from. Tree Crop is now our special, private, place, thanks for a great anniversary.
Thank you so so very much for making such a beautiful escape for people to enjoy and become inspired by romance and the magic that exists there! Your energy is wrapped throughout the entire place, the thought and care that you had for us throughout out stay was genuinely.
What a wonderful place to spend time to celebrate, to get back to basics and to be only 'Us two' Thank you ever so much for your hospitality, welcoming spirit, great chatter and offering a fabulous 'lovers' retreat ❤️ What you have shared with us is inspiring. We will be back.
My Husband and I had a wonderful stay at the beautiful tree crop farm. Lynnies place is truely a place to get away from it all. We enjoy the tree house but the lost weekend hut looked awesome too, vertu private with its own sauna and outdoor hammock. The beautiful garden and bohemian feel to the rooms we particular liked.
Beautiful Surroundings, all about the little things, rustic, raw, arty, earthy, step back in time and soak away your worries in a outdoor bath and gaze upon the stars above. Lynnie was wonderful and caring to all your needs I didn't have to ask for anything. I love old things that have a history about them and there are plenty.
I love everything about this place. Its beautifully located in a small valley off a country road, nestled in between a babbling creek and beautiful NZ bush with beautiful views. The cabins are so quaint and beautifully decorated with loads of charm- its like being in a fairy tale. The property itself is amazing, I loved just wandering around exploring the gardens & the trails. There is plenty to do whether you want to stay in your cabin to lounge ( or Love !) or read or take a hike on one of the many trails at the back of the property or wander down to the village for a drink or a swim. Lynne was a wonderful host - very friendly, hospital and a very interesting lady and an incredible cook! She took extra care of me because I was there on my own. I know its a lovers retreat but its also wonderful place to stay on your own if you want some quiet time. A highlight for me was an outdoor bush bath - Lynne lit a fire under an outdoor cast iron clawfoot nestled in a private area surrounded by rose bushes. She fills up the bath and sprinkles it with fragrant herbs! Lying in the bath, in the bush, with the herbs, the roses and starting up the stars was amazing! I had a wonderful time and will make this regular spot to stay at whenever I'm back in NZ.
